Main facts about the DBSAA
The DBSAA is a private school and hold by the school's association.
Basis for the classes in the secondary school is the curriculum of the federal state Thüringen. In the sixth form it is the curriculum of the IBO (Geneva/Cardiff).
The DBSAA (Deutsceh Botschaftsschule Addis Abeba / German Embassy School Addis Ababa) is one of the oldest German schools in Africa which are supported by Germany with money and staff.
At the moment aroun 140 pupils arer going to the DBSAA and there are around 60 children in the kindergarden. That means that the DBSAA is one of the small German Auslandsschulen.
